Procedure	Rabbit were immunized with sheep IgA in Freund�s adjuvant. Antiserum was solid phase absorbed to ensure class specificity. The antibody was immunoaffinity purified off an IgA containing immunoabsorbant.
Specification	By IEP analysis, this product forms a precipitin line against IgA in normal sheep colostrums. This line is often fairly weak with normal sheep serum due to the low level of IgA usually present. The anti-Sheep IgA is suitable for ELISA and blotting applications.
